I have been involved with photography for 30 years. Inspired early on by an Ansel Adams exhibit in the mid-eighties, black and white photography became my passion. I was employed as a Technical Lab Manager in Wichita where I spent many hours learning and perfecting Ansel's Zone System. Newly married with no kids presented the opportunity to haul my large format equipment around Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Wyoming pursuing photographic opportunities.
All my early B&W exhibits were printed by me using Ilford's Gallerie fiber-based paper. Ilford was the major sponsor for the International Photographers Hall of Fame exhibit where a photograph remains for permanent exhibit. The B&W photography on this site represents the earlier portion of my work.
